This banner stand is 78" tall by 33" wide and features the image of the Madonna of the Host by Ingres.  Fully retractable and stored in an aluminum case, it takes less than a minute to extend the telescopic pole and unroll the Madonna of the Host by Ingres banner.  Each unit includes a nylon travel bag for storage and transport, making the banner stand an excellent tool for priests, professors, and missionaries who travel and spread devotion to Mary and the Eucharist.

19th century French Neoclassical artist Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres created this graceful expression of Mary as the Mediatrix of all graces. She adores her Son Jesus in the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist with Angels flanking on either side. It is due to her constant faith and gaze upon our Lord, her immaculate-ness, and her spousal relation with the Holy Spirit that she has been chosen to distrubute the graces that Christ won on the cross to humanity. Possibly designed as a play off of the Virgin adoring her sleeping Child, Mary's gaze and posture show her deep love and awe for the Word made flesh in her womb. In her maternity and feminity, she embodies Woman; in her utter devotion and awe, she embodies the authentic Christian. May we strive to emulate her purity and ardency of faith, that we may truly live our lives for the glory of God.

From top-to-bottom, the banner stand measures approximately 78" tall when fully extended.  In reality, the banner stand can be extended several inches more, but a total height of 78" is our recommendation for the best combination of visibility and stability.
