An unknown artist created this image in a series of paintings currently held in the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption in Marrietta, Ohio. This picture shows Jesus surrounded by children, the sick, and their concerned family and friends. A unique touch the artist gave this painting is that the clothing of the crowd surrounding Jesus is similar in style to what was worn in America and Europe in the 1800's, probably to remind those attending Mass that Jesus was still present to heal and help in their time in the Eucharist, just as He was present in the Holy Land two thousand years ago.
