Guardian Angel Bookends
These alabaster bookends feature, "Guardian Angel and Children Crossing Bridge", the timeless image of an angel protecting a boy and girl on a narrow bridge. Able to keep heavy books in line, they both organize and decorate your home. These bookends make the perfect personal gift for both kids and adults. The original painting was done by artist Lindbergh Heilige Schutzengel.
The bookends are made from stone-cast alabaster here in our shop in Steubenville, Ohio. Alabaster is a building and decorating material created from the mineral gypsum that has been used since the time of the ancient Egyptian Pharaohs. It boasts an attractive smooth finish.
Each measures roughly 6" x 8", including the 4"x 6" inset image plaque, and is 3" deep.
Text reads:
"Angel of God, my Guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here: Ever this day be at my side, to light, to guard, to rule, to guide. Amen." -Guardian Angel Prayer
