On the front, there is a Eucharistic Host with rays shining out and "IHS" in the center. Around the image, the card greets, "A gift for you on your First Holy Communion." Remind yourself and the one who has newly been united to Christ's Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity that this food of new life is truly the source and summit of our faith that unifies us with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    Note the "distressed" look of the wording in the upper left corner of the front of the card. It is more noticeable when seen in full size and inconsistent with the appearance of the rest of the card. Totally out of place it detracts from the overall appearance of the card. Otherwise a nice looking card.
