This 8" St. John Veronese statue features St. John the Evangelist with his name engraved on the rock below him. By his feet is the royal eagle - his symbol for grace, strength, keenness of vision and powers of flight above all else. He's holding a pen and book that reads, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." It is lightly hand painted and made of cold cast bronze.

    I used to long for a small statue of Saint John when I was young, but he only seemed to come in large size for churches. So when I saw this one I jumped on the opportunity. Now he and Saint Peter are both by the window in my lounge. Liking them very much.
