[Coraggio Design - Pelican]
In time of famine, a pelican will strike and wound itself, so as to feed its young so they may live. This act has made the pelican a universal symbol for Christ in church history. For we too are fed upon the Precious Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins. (Matthew 26:28 - “…for this is the blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins”)

~

Once, as Pope St. John Paul II battled illness, a Capuchin friar stood below his window with a fist in the sky and shouted, "Coraggio! (Courage!)" Inspired by this story, we at Catholic to the Max wanted to create a product line devoted to inspiring others to have courage and spark real life conversations about Christ. With this in mind, we've created a new set of designs that are Catholic, engaging, but also a little unclear. By stirring curiosity in others, our hope is when someone asks you about your shirt, journal, bracelet, etc, you have the opportunity and courage to proclaim the message of Jesus. You can learn more about the Coraggio brand by visiting our new website: livecoraggio.com.

I love the weight of this shirt!; great material that’s easy to wash and wear! Being from Louisiana the pelican has additional meaning for me to I absolutely love the print! If I could critique at all I’d say two things: 1) I’d love this shirt in a women’s cut 2) the design seems a tad large on the shirt (probably because I’m used to a ladies cut/design ;)) Overall, I’m really pleased with the shirt and will be wearing it often!
